The conference was held in a 20-acre plot of land on the edge of Phnom Penh which has no buildings and is literally a cow pasture. The diocese just bought it and will create a diocesan center there. For this conference, numerous tents and shelters were set up, like these tents where various workshops were held. |

About 1,000 Catholics from the various parishes and centers around the country participated. Each center brought a delegation that varied from 10 to 100, depending on the size of their community. Digital projection screens were set up and inside the large tent there were also large flat-screen monitors. |

The final moment of the conference was a liturgy after a video message from Pope Benedict was broadcast to all the people. Here the gospel is proclaimed for the group. |
